colin arnott hails from the States . In addition to squeezing thru rockfall in Colorado , their first experiences of caves were on a scout trip to Mammoth Cave . After a long hiatus and a move to Aotearoa , their interests were rekindled on an AUTC trip. This lead them to join ASG , HTG , and NSG to gain connections with the community, skills, and expertise. They took these learnings, ran nearly fifty trips with AUTC over their time in Auckland, and stepped up as ASG gear officer for two years. Recently they have moved to Whakatū , and taken up ultimate frisbee and swing dance .
